Small paws.
A whole world to discover.
Care for a little friend, build friendships, and see what they bring home. Here’s how your little world works.
Your first little adventure
Make yourself at home
Create an account with 50 coins. Your first littlekin is free, and each additional adoption costs 200 coins. Save your starter coins for supplies.
Pick your companion
Choose a littlekin in the sidebar. Your selected companion is the one you care for, take on playdates and send on adventures.
Care, then discover
Fill their needs, meet a playmate, or send them to Meadow. Come back to welcome your explorer home and collect their rewards.
Your sanctuary has room for eight littlekins. Give them names, hatch eggs to meet new companions, or choose “Let go” when you want to make room. Letting a pet go does not refund its adoption cost.
A happy little daily rhythm
Needs show current points and capacity, such as 8 / 12. Capacity starts at 12. Each level adds 2 points of capacity without refilling your littlekin’s needs. Needs gradually decline over time, including while you’re away, but littlekins do not die.
Feed
+3 fullness
Play
+3 XP
Uses 2 energy
Clean
+4 cleanliness
+1 happiness
Rest
+4 energy
Cuddle
+2 happiness
These are the standard care amounts. Need gains stop when that need is full, and each care action has a five-minute cooldown. Play earns 3 XP; an equipped ball adds 2 XP, while a kite or wand adds 3 XP. Other care actions give no XP, and care does not earn coins.
Fullness falls by about 0.36 points per hour, happiness and energy by 0.24, and cleanliness by 0.18. The game displays needs as whole points.
Make use of your little shelf
Buy supplies in the shop, then select them in Your happy place. You can select a different item for each care activity. Food adds its listed bonuses to normal feeding. Bath supplies provide their listed benefits in place of the usual cleaning gains, while reusable equipment adds its bonus.
Food and bath supplies use one serving when a care action succeeds and follow the same five-minute care timer. When a supply runs out, it leaves your shelf and another available supply may be selected.
Friendship grows one visit at a time
The Playdates page shows other caretakers’ available littlekins. Just hatched introduces the newest arrivals first. Choose Best friends to find your selected pet’s closest friends, or Recently active to see littlekins with recent care, playdates or journeys first. You can combine the trait and kind filters to find a playmate. Pets on journeys stay unavailable until their caretaker welcomes them back.
Choose a playmate to see the energy, cleanliness and fullness your littlekin will spend. Early playdates cost 3 energy, 2 cleanliness and 1 fullness. Costs increase as the pair becomes closer, so check the amounts before confirming. If your pet is short on needs, return home for care first.
When you arrange a playdate, only your littlekin spends needs and earns up to 15 XP. The invited pet gains no XP, and neither pet earns coins.
Friendship grows through visits from both sides. If you arrange three playdates and the other caretaker has not returned a visit, you’ll see “0 of 3 friendship points”. Two return visits make it “2 of 3”; three make it “3 friendship points”. You can keep arranging visits while waiting for your friend to return them. Friendship progress and learned traits never expire. Mutual friendship points unlock certain destinations and pack bonuses. Learning traits depends on the playdates your littlekin starts, even if the other caretaker has not returned a visit.
When both littlekins are the same species, each caretaker gets a separate chance of receiving a special egg based on that species’ rarity. This also applies to matching Kindred. The egg always hatches a littlekin of that species and can be gifted. These eggs cannot be bought, and you’ll need space in your sanctuary to hatch one.
| Species rarity | Egg chance |
|---|---|
| Common | 2% |
| Uncommon | 1% |
| Rare | 0.5% |
| Epic | 0.25% |
| Legendary | 0.125% |
The same pair must wait five minutes between playdates. You can meet other friends during that time, and there is no daily playdate limit.
A little of their nature becomes yours
When you arrange a playdate, your littlekin can learn one random trait that its playmate knows and it has yet to learn. You’ll see an animation when a new trait is learned. You cannot choose which trait your pet learns, and there is no limit to how many different traits a pet can know.
Your littlekin earns one learning credit after it starts 3 playdates with the same playmate, then another after 9, 15, 21 and every six playdates after that. Learning a trait uses credits. Traits above your littlekin’s rarity cost more, and unused credits stay available for future playdates.
| Trait above your pet’s rarity | Credits | Earliest first discovery |
|---|---|---|
| Same rarity or lower | 1 | 3 playdates you start |
| 1 tier higher | 2 | 9 playdates you start |
| 2 tiers higher | 5 | 27 playdates you start |
| 3 tiers higher | 10 | 57 playdates you start |
| 4 tiers higher | 17 | 99 playdates you start |
The earliest discovery shown assumes your pet has not already spent credits on another trait. Each friendship pair has its own learning progress, and each littlekin spends its credits separately.
Beyond your sanctuary
Meadow is your first destination. The table below shows each location’s level, needs, helpful traits and entry requirements. When an earlier destination is required, one of your littlekins must complete it successfully first. This exploration progress is shared across your sanctuary.
Required traits can be natural or learned through playdates. Where an item is listed as an alternative, owning it is enough; travelling does not use it up. A location’s friendship requirement uses your explorer’s total mutual points across all its playmates, and those points are not spent. Opening hours use UTC and apply when you set off; your littlekin can finish the journey after the location closes.
Your littlekin spends the energy and fullness shown below when setting off. Every journey also requires at least 4 happiness. Travelling does not reduce happiness or require cleanliness. Check the whole points displayed beside each need to see whether your pet has enough.
Level, species rarity and the location’s three helpful traits affect success. Each matching helpful trait gives the same bonus, whether natural or learned. Helpful traits improve the odds; only traits listed under Entry rules are required to enter.
| Place | Minimum level | Journey | Energy | Fullness | Helpful traits | Entry rules |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meadow | 1 | 5 min | −2 | −1 | Observant Gentle Playful | No additional location restrictions |
| Pond | 8 | 8 min | −5 | −3 | Aquatic Playful Dreamy | Complete Meadow first |
| Forest | 16 | 10 min | −9 | −5 | Brave Loyal Curious | Complete Meadow first |
| Misty peaks | 25 | 15 min | −15 | −9 | Radiant Nimble | Complete Forest first; Have the Flying trait |
| Crystal caves | 35 | 20 min | −22 | −13 | Curious Mystic Cosmic | Complete Pond first; Have the Curious trait, or own Wish upon a wand |
| Coral shore | 45 | 20 min | −30 | −18 | Aquatic Graceful Captivating | Complete Pond first; Have the Aquatic trait, or own Cloud bubbles, or reach 25 total friendship points with any playmates |
| Whispering woods | 58 | 25 min | −40 | −24 | Magical Eternal | Complete Forest first; 10 total friendship points with any playmates needed |
| Starfall isle | 70 | 30 min | −52 | −32 | Night Fiery Cosmic | Complete Crystal caves first; Have the Night trait, or reach 50 total friendship points with any playmates; Open 18:00–06:00 UTC |
Your littlekin cannot join playdates while exploring. When the journey ends, welcome your explorer home to collect any finds and make them available for care and playdates again. Successful journeys can bring coins, XP, items and eggs.
Your shelf holds up to 99 of each item. If a reward will not fit, you can make room first or choose “Review skipped rewards”. You will see exactly what would be discarded before confirming. Your explorer still brings home all coins, XP and rewards that fit; items already on your shelf stay safe.
You can have up to eight journeys available. One journey recharges every hour while you have fewer than eight, including while you’re away.
A 100-coin Journey Kit refills your available journeys. A 120-coin Restoration Elixir fills all four needs of your selected littlekin. Use an elixir from the shop or sanctuary shelf after welcoming your explorer home. A kit or elixir stays on your shelf if there is nothing to refill.
Travel with your pack
Friends from different caretakers form a pack when their journeys to the same destination overlap. Each location card shows your selected littlekin’s travelling friends. Your pet’s seven strongest friendships with at least 3 mutual points contribute bonuses, for up to eight pets including your explorer.
| Friendship tier (mutual points) | Success bonus | Egg bonus | Item bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1: 3–24 | +1 percentage point | +1 percentage point | — |
| Tier 2: 25–49 | +2 percentage points | +1 percentage point | +1 percentage point |
| Tier 3: 50+ | +2 percentage points | +2 percentage points | +5 percentage points |
Your littlekin receives bonuses from its own friendships in the pack, with each friend counted once. If two littlekins travel together with Tier 1 friendship, each gains +1 percentage point of success chance and +1 percentage point of egg chance. A friend’s other friendships do not add to your pet’s bonuses. If several of your pets join the same friend, each counts that friend once; your own pets do not add bonuses to one another.
Friends who join while your littlekin is travelling can improve its chances. If more than seven friends join, the seven strongest friendships count.
Select With 1 friend or the friend count on a journey to open its pack. The top shows your explorer’s totals. Each companion’s card shows that pet’s own total success chance, pack bonuses and return time. The friendship tier and mutual points describe that pet’s friendship with your explorer. Friends remain listed after they return home because their contributions stay with your journey.
Success can never exceed 98%, even with every bonus, so there is always at least a 2% chance of failure. Egg and item chances apply only on successful journeys and cannot exceed 100%. Pack item bonuses add to the usual 30% item chance. Every food can be found at every destination, with Common foods much more likely than Epic or Legendary treats. Item bonuses do not change the relative rarity chances. Seeds have a separate 11.15% chance, which pack bonuses do not increase.
A successful journey can bring at most one item, one seed and one egg. Pack bonuses make eggs more likely without changing their relative rarity chances. You can join a friend only while their journey is still in progress; a pet waiting to be welcomed home is no longer travelling.
Finding food
When a food is found, its rarity is chosen first, then one food of that rarity is picked equally. At destinations with other supplies, 80% of item finds are food and 20% are local supplies. At destinations with only food, every item find is food.
| Food rarity | Share of food finds |
|---|---|
| Common | 62.5% |
| Uncommon | 25% |
| Rare | 10% |
| Epic | 2% |
| Legendary | 0.5% |
These percentages apply when food is found, not to every journey. Epic and Legendary seeds are even rarer; their chances are listed in the garden table.
Following a friend into a harder destination
Choose Join the pack to travel with a friend who has at least 3 mutual friendship points with your littlekin. Check the chance and full costs on the card before clicking. If your pet meets all the requirements, the journey starts immediately.
A friend who can enter a location on their own can guide your littlekin past a level, trait or tool requirement. For example, your pet can follow a guide without the Flying or Night trait, but must still respect the location’s opening hours. Required earlier journeys and total friendship points still apply. A pet that needed a guide cannot guide another unprepared pet, so a friend who meets the requirements must still be travelling there when you join.
If your pet needs a guide, their total success chance is 2% per contributing friend: one friend gives 2%, two give 4%, and seven give 14%. This replaces the usual success chance, so tier success bonuses are not added again. More friends joining during the journey can raise this chance. Your companions keep their own success chances, and egg and item bonuses still apply if your pet succeeds.
Before a risky journey, you’ll see a warning with the low success chance, missing requirements and full costs. Read it and confirm with the button showing your success chance. If the chance or requirements change before departure, reopen the pack card and review the new warning before confirming.
Your littlekin must be at home, have a journey available and meet the full energy, fullness and happiness requirements. A guide does not reduce those costs. If your pet’s capacity is too small to hold enough energy or fullness, it must level up before joining.
The journey and needs are spent even if the trip fails. An unsuccessful journey gives 5 XP and no coins, items or eggs. A guided journey must succeed to count toward exploration progress.
Room to grow
Playtime, exploration and playdates earn XP. Level 2 needs 120 XP, and each following level takes 10 more XP than the previous one. The maximum level is 300. The leaderboard ranks littlekins by total XP. Growth stages are Little, Blossoming from level 5 and Radiant from level 12.

My little garden
A seed today. Something lovely to share tomorrow. Start with four free plots and expand to eight. There are eight plants, growing the same foods you can buy in the shop: Carrot crunch, Grape giggles, Orchard apple, Berry picnic, Honey flower cookie, Sunberry bonbon, Moonmallow bloom and Starfizz delight. Yes, cookies and candy flowers grow here too.
Buy seeds in the shop’s Seeds category, find them on successful journeys or receive them as gifts. Choose an empty plot to plant a seed. If your shelf is empty, the plot links to the Seeds category in the shop. Planting uses one seed, and the plant keeps producing harvests without needing another. Follow the progress bar and countdown to see when it is ready.
Other caretakers can water your plants if they have a littlekin at home. Each watering takes up to 60 seconds off the growing time, or 120 seconds if their pet has the plant’s helpful trait, whether natural or learned. There is a 15-minute pause between waterings on the same plot.
Each visitor can water a plant once per harvest, even if they switch pets. They can help again after you collect the whole harvest. Carrots and grapes accept two waterings per harvest, apples and berries three, cookies and sunberries four, and moonmallows and starfizz plants five. You’ll receive a notification showing the time saved.
Watering is optional; plants grow on their own. Only you can harvest or replace your plants. Plants, seeds and food do not expire.
| Plant | Seed price | Growth | Rarity | Food bonus | Helpful trait | Visitor showers per harvest | Seed chance per successful journey |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Carrot crunch | 20 | 30 min | Common | +2 fullness, +1 energy | Gentle | 2 | 6% |
| Grape giggles | 35 | 45 min | Uncommon | +4 fullness, +1 happiness | Captivating | 2 | 2% |
| Orchard apple | 50 | 60 min | Uncommon | +4 fullness, +1 energy | Nimble | 3 | 2% |
| Berry picnic | 70 | 90 min | Rare | +5 fullness, +2 happiness | Mystic | 3 | 0.5% |
| Honey flower cookie | 100 | 120 min | Rare | +5 fullness, +2 happiness, +2 energy | Magical | 4 | 0.5% |
| Sunberry bonbon | 220 | 4 hours | Epic | +12 fullness, +3 happiness, +6 energy | Fiery | 4 | 0.1% |
| Moonmallow bloom | 360 | 12 hours | Legendary | 24 hourly boosts of +1 fullness | Cosmic | 5 | 0.025% |
| Starfizz delight | 360 | 12 hours | Legendary | 24 hourly boosts of +1 energy | Eternal | 5 | 0.025% |
Food adds the bonuses shown above to normal feeding, up to your littlekin’s capacity. Feeding follows the usual care timer.
A little candy magic
Sunberry bonbon is an Epic berry candy with a generous +12 fullness, +3 happiness and +6 energy on top of basic feeding. Buy a serving for 65 coins, or grow two servings every four hours.
Moonmallow bloom is a Legendary marshmallow flower. Basic feeding gives its usual +3 fullness immediately. Each serving then adds +1 fullness to 24 hourly boosts. Buy a serving for 95 coins, or grow one every 12 hours.
Starfizz delight is a Legendary star candy. Basic feeding gives its usual +3 fullness immediately. Each serving then adds +1 energy to 24 hourly boosts. Buy a serving for 95 coins, or grow one every 12 hours.
Each food has one shared countdown. The first serving starts a one-hour timer. Add another serving and it joins the next boost without resetting that timer: two active Starfizz servings give +2 energy together; three give +3. Moonmallow works the same way for fullness, with its own countdown. There is no stacking limit.
Every serving contributes to 24 hourly boosts, then stops. Adding food never extends older servings. A new serving can receive its first boost sooner than an hour when it joins a countdown already running. The sanctuary shows the amount of the next boost and when it will arrive.
Both foods keep working while you are away and while your littlekin explores. Normal need decay still applies. Boosts stop at the relevant need’s capacity; anything that cannot fit is not saved for later. Feeding uses one serving even when the need is full and follows the usual care timer.
Each successful journey has a separate 11.15% chance of bringing home one seed. A seed can arrive alongside an item and an egg, and pack bonuses do not change its chances. Seeds and food can be gifted.
You can hold up to 99 of each item. If your shelf fills up, any remaining harvest waits on the plant until you make room.
A little something for your shelf
Spend coins on food, bath supplies, toys, owner sigils and eggs. The shop and your home shelf show how many you own. Food and bath supplies have limited servings, while reusable equipment stays with you. Owner sigils decorate your caretaker profile.

Hatch an egg from your shelf when your sanctuary has room. Common eggs can hatch six species, and each higher rarity can hatch two. Every species shown for an egg has an equal chance of appearing. Special playdate eggs always hatch their named species. You may hatch a species you already own. Each hatch uses one egg.
