Before you begin
Is Littlekin free?
Yes. Your first littlekin is free and you begin with care coins. Optional coin packages are available, but ordinary care and the main game do not require a purchase.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Littlekin runs in a modern web browser on desktop or mobile. An account keeps your sanctuary, creatures, friendships and discoveries saved.
Is this a game about real animals?
No. Littlekin are original imaginary creatures with their own species, traits and rarities. They are companions in a cozy fantasy world, not real cats or dogs.
Can I play with other people?
Yes. You can arrange playdates, visit gardens, send gifts, join overlapping journeys and talk in the community. Private account information is never shown publicly.
Is Littlekin’s art made with AI?
Yes. As a small indie team, we used AI tools to create our illustrations, since commissioning art for hundreds of kins and items isn’t possible for us yet. When we have the budget, we plan to hire human artists to redraw the art, using our current illustrations as a starting point.
