streak bugged (stays at 0?)

I've taken care of my littlekins for a couple days in a row now but the streak never progresses past 0. I can only assume that is a bug unless there's an action I am missing for it to count a day towards the streak? edit: I've only now thought to click on it the streak button that I had no idea was a button. If anyone is confused as well, click it. I missed out on a couple days because that didn't translate well (I'm used to streaks updating automatically as you do actions.)
