How do you move on with the Moss quest at the Pond?

A new quest has apperead and seems like it's required to send our littlekin to the pond in order to fullfill it but so far I send my Pecan twice but it still doens't move on. Am I doing something wrong or it's a bug?

You need to find a fishing rod to help Moss. i found mine in the meadows, before i was even able to go to the pond. hope that helps

Good luck...have one so it is rare. ( sorry i have only one and it is a reusable item for quets )

You need some kind of a tool.. *hint* *hint* ... check the shop. You don't have to buy it. Many players find it journeys or just burrow it from one another.

I'm trying to fetch it from the Meadow (since the Pond is useless and the other areas are inapprochable for me, right now) but it's really hard. I'll try again some more but if doesn't go well maybe I'll ask a kind soul to lend it to me temporararily through gift, I take, right?

no problem! my wife was able to just do the quest without going into the pond again, just click on the encounter.

Is the quest broken or something? I've been to pond multiple times and it seems like ot does nothing, and I've explored meadow dozen times since then (not high enough for forest yet) and nothing. Whoever designed this quest is really forcing players to buy the rod for 600??
